Old Navy Halloween sale
Last year they were on sale for $5 on the last couple of days and I bought my youngest daughter's costume for last year and this year the night before the sale and then just took in my receipt and they did a price adjustment and refunded the difference! I plan on picking up a few costumes again this year and going back in for a price adjustment.
And...(this just keeps getting better, doesn't it?)...if you are a Gap or Old Navy card holder and are one of the first 50 people in the door on Friday morning you will be a coupon good for 50% off whatever you can stuff into your bag! See my previous post for other coupons to use at Old Navy!

Thomas the Train Engine for $1.99 shipped
Wooden Toby is also $1.99 but doesn't give free shipping (but will ship free with Tomas).
If those links don't work, try adding them to your cart from this page.
WARNING! This website is extremely slow, probably from everyone trying to order. If you really want this, just keep trying!
From the Learning Curve website...
"Free shipping valid 10/13/09-10/16/09 or while supplies last. Cannot be combined with other product promotions.Your Thomas Engine will arrive wrapped in tissue, please note, this engine is not carded.
This Thomas the Tank Engine comes wrapped in tissue in a padded envelope.
Thomas can be described as a cheeky, fussy little engine. He often gets into scrapes, usually by being over-eager to do things best left to the bigger and more sensible engines. But clouds never last long in Thomas' world and he's soon bustling about again, playing his part in the yard and on his very own branch line, of which he is extremely proud.
Thomas Wooden Railway vehicles, track and destinations are not compatible with Take Along Thomas items."

80% off at Restaurant.com (AGAIN!)
1. Sign up here for an ebates account with $5 bonus: Ebates sign up
2. On the ebates website, click on the "Stores" tab, find Restaurant.com and click on the "Shop Now" button next to it.
3. On Restaurant.com, find the restaurant(s) you want to purchase from and add them to your cart. Be sure to read the fine print first!
4. When on the shopping cart page, enter the discount code "FOUR" and check out when you're ready, you can pay with credit card or even Paypal.
Keep in mind that the restaurant specific certificates expire 1 year from purchase.
If you are unsure on which restaurants you want, but don't want to miss out on this great deal, you can purchase generic Restaurant.com certificates. They will stay in your account indefinitely until you want to use them - they NEVER expire! You can purchase them by going to the "Give a Gift" tab and choosing the denomination ($25 for $10, $50 for $20, etc). When you enter the discount code FOUR at checkout it will bring down the price by 80%.
You will find more restaurants available at the beginning of each month - each restaurant only has so many restaurant.com certificates they will sell each month and once they sell out for the month you can't even see them as an option. Since this is the middle of the month (and the FOUR code expires on 10/12), I would recommend buying the generic certificates and then checking the restaurant list on Nov 1 (or the beginning of whatever month you think you want to use a certificate).
Offer expires Monday, Oct 12th @ midnight.

FREE Amazon Prime Shipping for the holidays
Amazon is offering 3 months of free Amazon Prime trial membership if you add one eligible textbook to your cart. You don't have to actually purchase the textbook, just put it in your cart and proceed through checkout to the final page (without buying). Please note that this is not valid for existing or previous prime members (see note below if this is you).
- Add an eligible text book to your cart (click that link and scroll down, choose one of the books on the screen).
- Proceed all the way to checkout, and click "FREE Two-Day Shipping with a Free Trial of Amazon Prime" option
- Confirm your free 3-month trial (check that it's for 3 months, if not see "final note" below)
- Delete the textbook from your cart, go to the Amazon home page.
- Click "Your Account"
- Scroll down to the "Settings" section and click on "Manage My Prime Membership".
- Click on "Do Not Upgrade"
- Click on "Turn Off Auto Upgrade"
ALSO NOTE: The last several steps are so the free trial will end without you having to remember to cancel it. If for some reason you end up getting charged for it ($79) you can cancel it as long as you haven't used it since you were charged for it (free trial transactions excluded).
FINAL NOTE: If you are being offered only 1-month of free trial instead of 3-months, you may need to create a new Amazon account. Some people are finding they are only getting a month free on their usual accounts (that haven't had Prime before). So when you're on the screen to confirm the free Prime trial, take note of how long of a trial you are being offered.
Let the Christmas shopping begin! :D
